In Sprawling Dubai, This Restaurant is a Rare Gem
Hoseki, on the 4th floor of the Bulgari Resort, offers Japanese haute cuisine with a view over the city skyline.

At Hoseki, diners can enjoy lunch or dinner at an L-shaped bar facing the Dubai skyline, in a minimalist setting designed to avoid any distractions from the views and the dishes, prepared before their eyes by chef Masahiro Sugiyama.
In Japan, such a small space is not unusual, but in this city of excess, home to the world’s tallest tower and highest hotel, Hoseki is an exception. Here, there is no fixed menu: the chef studies the preferences of each diner and creates dishes according to the day’s market finds, following the tradition of omakase (which literally means ‘I leave it to you’ in Japanese). The experience is popular, so it is essential to book in advance. For those wanting to visit with more than eight friends, there’s a solution: for groups, a private room can accommodate up to 12 people.
