Eat Actors in Tokyo at Whoopi Goldburger
In this burger restaurant in Shibuya district, all the names of the burgers are a nod to stars of cinema and music.

This place may be nothing special to look at, but it’s certainly worth a visit. With its small size and basement-like feel, stickers on the walls and the collection of vinyl on the shelves behind the counter, it feels a bit like you’re having a bite to eat at a friend’s house. The other unusual touch is that the burgers are named after well-known figures from cinema and music, like the ‘Kevin Bacon Burger’ and the ‘Charlotte Gainsburger’.
Located in the very popular Shibuya district, Whoopi Goldburger seats around twelve people at the bar, from where they can watch the two chefs cooking. The restaurant closes when there is no more fresh meat left for the day. The owners, Shogo and Taiji, both play in a band together and have known each other since primary school. Perhaps this explains the fact that the names of the burgers seem like an ‘in joke’.
