The former frontman of psychedelic rock band Yura Yura Teikoku invited a children's choir to appear on this summery pop track.
Following a very successful career extending from 1989 to 2010, the former frontman of the underground psychedelic rock group Yura Yura Teikoku decided to go solo in 2012. After recording a first album, How to Live With a Phantom, on which he played virtually all the instruments, Shintaro Sakamoto returned in 2014 with an album of summery pop, Let’s Dance Raw, on which he serves up a blend of tropical music and Latin rhythms.
For the track ‘You Can Be a Robot, Too’, taken from this timeless album, the musician invited a children’s choir to appear, in homage to the soundtracks of cartoons from his childhood.
