Photographer Takashi Yasui explores contradictory landscapes, both modern and ancient, through the photos he posts on his Instagram account.

In 2012, Takashi Yasui posted his first photo on Instagram (he started taking photos in 2010 before turning professional in 2015). Via this platform, his street photography work has since become famous all over the world.
His work, the fruit of hours spent wandering, explores the beauty of contradictory landscapes, from the bamboo forests of Sagano in Kyoto to the Ariake Sea in Nagasaki via busy Tokyo streets.
