This Tokyo Plant Shop Hides a Beautiful Tea Room
Aoyama Flower Market is a flower shop that hides a tea room and that is located in Tokyo's Aoyama district.
At the back of Aoyama Flower Market in Tokyo, close to Omotesando Avenue, nestled between bouquets and potted plants, lies an almost secret door. It conceals a tea room, decorated with plants and flowers from floor to ceiling.
The guests are instantly immersed in a rural setting: each week, the decoration changes to showcase a different flower. The importance of plants is reflected even in the tea infusions flavoured with plants and flowers and in the dishes, such as the house speciality, French toast with edible flowers.
